Elmo Rietschle, C-KLR ZEPHYR Series, Claw Pressure-Vacuum PumpsThe C-KLR ZEPHYR series high efficiency, dry and contact-free compression claw pressure-vacuum pumps have capacities ranging from 80 to 140 m³/hr with vacuum up to – 0.6 bar and pressure up to + 1.0 bar. The vacuum and pressure operating points are virtually independent of each other.

Integrated air cooling without additional cooling medium and built-in compressed air after-cooler lead to low exhaust temperature.

Suitable for a wide range of applications, these claw pressure-vacuum pumps can be found in the; printing and paper, chemical, environmental, industrial, packaging and woodworking industries.

  • Innovative claw technology
    The claws of the C series feature an optimised, high precision shape and roll together without contact, synchronised by a precision gear set. Compression is achieved dry and wear free. Special seals separate the compression chamber and gearbox. The claw rotors control the transportation of the medium by opening and closing the inlet and outlet channels. As a result, no sealing fluid is needed within the compression chamber.

    Part of the dry running C series, the C-KLR ZEPHYR models efficiently and economically generate contact free vacuum and pressure thanks to the internal compression principle. This leads to considerable energy savings compared to the traditional rotary lobe design without internal compression.
  • Low sound level
    Like the other machines within the C series, these claw pressure-vacuum pumps emit only low sound levels.
